Do you or your child struggle to read or spell? Did you know that 1 in 5 children are dyslexic? This presentation will introduce you to the developmental reading disorder known as dyslexia. This packed session will cover facts vs. myths, the warning signs at all ages, what skills may be affected, basic terminology, latest research, best-practices for remediation, success stories and how to locate resources. We will end the evening with a simulation experience. This course is appropriate for parents and adults of all ages. Additional family member may attend at no charge.
