DDMN's Youth Program, Dreaming Dyslexic, is hosting a youth event at Color Me Mine. Join your dyslexic friends for pottery painting and pizza! Only one parent per child may attend, as space is limited.
Parent and child must each purchase a ticket to attend. One parent must attend per child/group of children.
NOTE: The ticket price does NOT include the purchase of the ceramic pieces. Ceramic pieces are chosen and purchased by YOU at Color Me Mine the day of the event.
Color Me Mine offers 100’s of different pottery options for you to choose from. A Color Me Mine Team member will hand dip your painted pieces in a clear glaze and then kiln fire your pottery. Your works of art will be wrapped and ready for you to pick up 7 days later. Pieces are then food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
Dyslexia Day on the Hill and Rally is a family-friendly event for parents, children, educators, and professionals from around the state. We gather at the Capitol to raise awareness about dyslexia and inform policymakers on best practices for students with dyslexia. Plan to meet your Legislators and drop off your posters.
